I do offer some sliding scale and low-fee sessions for individuals who may be experiencing financial distress. Please contact me and inquire about this if this may serve as a concern. If I am unable to accommodate your financial concern, I will offer referrals to other therapists.

Insurance

I am an out of network provider, which means that I do not bill insurance companies directly. Your therapy services may be eligible for reimbursement through out-of-network benefits or health care savings accounts. Health insurance plans and benefits vary, therefore please call your insurance provider to inquire about reimbursement for out-of-network therapy services.

If you choose to submit for possible out of network reimbursement, please discuss this with me. I will provide you with a document at the end of each month for out-of-network coverage/reimbursement that you will submit to your insurance company directly. I will not be fiscally accountable, should your insurance company be unable to reimburse your therapy costs.

Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services.

I’d recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:

  • Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
  • Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
  • Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
  • Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?

Payment

Payments can be made by cash, check. For payments via FSA, HSA, Google Wallet, PayPal, or credit card, I use HIPPAA compliant IVY PAY. Full payment is due at the beginning of our session.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you may be charged for the full rate of the session.
